Prominent among these are the electronic and automation systems, which have become an integral component of contemporary facilities.

- Card access control systems, including electronic locks and garage door operators
- Video intercoms and video surveillance (CCTV)
- Private Wi-Fi and multi-room audio systems

- Electronic fire alarms and automatic smoke exhaust systems
